Young children are gifted with the ability to expolre and identify with the world around them. Inspired by Waldorf education and the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, our staff at Garden Gate Preschool seeks to enhance and nurture these qualities by creating a natural and warm environment worthy of imitation.
We balance our program with activities that support your growing child's gross and fine motor development, with plenty of time to explore their ever-expanding world.

About Us
Children are surrounded with environmentally stimulating and enriching activities and materials balanced with nutritional foods, positive adult role models and a sense of community.
We provide a comfortable structure through the rhythmical ordering of daily activities. Teacher and students engage in artistic experiences, meaningful domestic tasks and stories and games that nourish and enhance the child's creative play. Children prepare for academics through nature, story, music, poetry and hands-on building. We strive to recognize the gifts in each child, the child's imitative openness to the world, and his/her natural sense of gratitude, wonder and reverence.
Our Story
Auntee Marsi has always loved being around animals, nature and children, and became inspired by her little sister, Miss Linnie, who started her own preschool - Sunflower Preschool in Capistrano Beach. For years, Miss Linnie spoke with her about the importance of a Waldorf inspired preschool for the children of a New Earth.
In October 2014, after Marsi witnessed the visible difference in the students at Sunflower Preschool and how uplifting it was to talk with conscious parents, Marsi was convinced that it was time to create Garden Gate Preschool. This would ultimately serve as a way for not only Marsi and her family but for all of the families at Garden Gate Preschool to give back and make a difference in the world.

In the Garden
Marsi, her husband Chuck and son, Reid have been working hard on creating the GARDEN part of Garden Gate, and caring for their beloved 10 chickens and TWO Roosters - Louie and Freddie.
We are looking forward to the future of Garden Gate.
